Global Warming Is Coming

Ambitious Al Gore has achieved fame and fortune, preaching his dire warnings of global warming. His secular converts have eagerly embraced his message and, like old-time Christian missionaries, are working diligently to win converts.

Although the Arctic is thicker than usual and the Antarctic is experiencing record cold temps each year, I must also raise my voice of warning about a coming global disaster! While carbon emission might possibly affect the earth's temperatures a degree or so, man's wicked conduct puts us all in greater danger (II Pet. 3:7).

Because of man's defiance to Him, God has promised that a day is coming in which "the earth and works that are therein shall be burned up" (II Pet. 3:10). In this coming conflagration, the entire material cosmos will be consumed in a fiery end.

Mr. Gore has decreed that the discussion on global warming is over. Millions now believe the Prophet from Tennessee and are feverishly complying with his commandments. Strange that many of those same global warming believers scoff at the divine warning from God's Book (II Pet. 3:3-4).

We can't keep the cosmos from its fiery end, but we can make our peace with God so we will escape the conflagration by being caught up with Christ (I Thess. 4:17) to live in God's new heavens and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness (II Pet. 3:13).
